Standard Keyboard Shortcuts

When setupping keyboard shortcuts, refer to this list to ensure consistency with other apps in the ecosystem.

Basic Shortcuts​

QuitCtrl + QCloses the App, including any Secondary Windows.

Content & Files​

ActionShortcutDescription
NewCtrl + NCreates a new content item, a new window or tab.
OpenCtrl + OOpens an existing content item, by showing a File Picker first.
SaveCtrl + SSaves the current content item. This may require the Save As Dialog.
Save AsCtrl + Shift + SSaves the content item with a new name. Shows the Save As Dialog.
PrintCtrl + PPrints the content item and shows the Print Dialog.
ShareCtrl + MShares the current content item.

Editing​

UndoCtrl + ZReverts the last action.
RedoCtrl + Shift + ZRedoes the last action, if it was reverted.
CutCtrl + XMoves selection to clipboard and deletes it from view.
CopyCtrl + CCopies the selected content to the clipboard.
PasteCtrl + VInserts the contents of the clipboard.
Paste SpecialCtrl + Shift + VInserts the contents of the clipboard without any formatting.
Select AllCtrl + ASelects all content in the view.
FindCtrl + FShows a Find/Search UI.
ReplaceCtrl + HShows a Find/Replace UI.

Viewing​

Zoom OutCtrl + -Shrinks the view.
Reset ZoomCtrl + 0Resets the view zoom.
ReloadCtrl + RRefreshes the view.

Formatting​
